The Good Shepherd Pledge

I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I am known by my own; even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father.  – John 10:14

Anyone who has ever read the Bible, gone to church or been to Sunday school has heard the parable of the Good Shepherd, told by Christ at the start of his ministry.   The enduring image of Jesus Christ as a shepherd is one of the oldest and most-used Christian symbols. Christ’s message that He is the Good Shepherd exemplifies His willingness to use simple examples for everyday people to understand.
