As the sun begins to warm our day we’ll meet with our guide at the portal of Old City Jerusalem: Jaffa Gate. This portal enters us to a land that explores the three main religions of the Holy Land.
We’ll start our day with a breathtaking panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. Here we will admire the city and all it has to hold, including the bazaars.
While we implant that beautiful view into our minds, we’ll visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Holy Tomb. These are the holiest sites in Christianity: the site where Jesus of Nazareth was crucified and Jesus's empty tomb, where he was to have been buried and resurrected.
We’ll then stroll to the Dome of the Rock; an iconic landmark of Jerusalem. The interior and exterior of the structure are decorated with marble, mosaics, and metal plaques. It is both important in its beauty and its representation of the religions.
We’ll continue to walk through the 4 quarters of the old city.
Afterwards we’ll visit Mount of Zion to tour the Dormition Abbey Church, the last supper room and Saint Peter in Gallicantu Church.
*A visit to the Dome of the Rock is subject to the opening hours and days. For females, a decent clothes is required to enter the Mosque area; a cover of the head and the body.
